Coach Chef Kimberly Houston is a Le Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef, culinary instructor, author, and transformational coach.

For over a decade, Coach Chef Kimberly Houston served as a Chef Instructor, teaching hundreds of people the art of baking and cake & cookie decoration. With a passion for engaging children in the kitchen, Coach Chef Kimberly Houston used food as a catalyst to not only teach but also to open up conversations in the kitchen.

In 2022, Coach Chef Kimberly Houston authored the book, Teach Me How to Bake, a baking textbook that has helped aspiring chefs and bakers across the country. In 2023, Coach Chef Kimberly Houston released the book, The Ultimate Guide to Culinary Instruction: Tips & Techniques for Successful Teaching.  

Chef Kim is the Founder of The Affordable Foodie Brand where her motto is Adulting Has Never Tasted so Good!

For all of the culinary educators wanting to move into teaching, she has founded “The Academy.”  This collection offers resources that have been carefully curated for culinary-specific instructors on classroom management, food photography, diversifying your income, and more.

In her previous book, Your Future In Cakes: Life After the Party (2021), Coach Chef Kimberly Houston shares her experiences and insights on how to successfully transition out of the kitchen and into new careers.

She is a certified Abundance Mindset and Transformation Life Coach, specializing in working with women entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to achieve success and fulfillment in all areas of their lives.

In July 2024, Kimberly accepted a new role as the Events and Engagement Manager for the Retail Bakers Association of America where she is able to combine her love for helping Sweets business owners and a passion for entrepreneurial success into a role that works directly with the RBA's members.
